backgrounds

Salim Boufenara has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2013 and is a founding partner of CSBC Avocats. After beginning his career with leading international firms, including Taylor Wessing and EY, he developed a practice primarily focused on business law, sports law, and intellectual property and artistic rights.
He advises both French and international clients, in advisory and litigation matters, on contract negotiation and structuring, business transactions and commercial relationships, as well as complex pre-litigation and litigation matters. His practice is characterised by a multidisciplinary approach that takes into account the legal, economic and strategic dimensions specific to each case.
Registered as a sports agent lawyer since 2014, Salim Boufenara has been advising professional athletes, clubs and stakeholders in the sports industry for more than ten years on contractual matters and legal issues, particularly in an international context. He also assists artists with the management and development of their careers, notably in the negotiation of their contracts and the protection and exploitation of their rights. In parallel, he advises production companies, publishers and leading event organisers on the structuring and legal security of their projects, both in France and internationally.
Co-founder of CSBC Avocats with Charlotte Callet in 2023, he also teaches sports law at Sciences Po Paris. He brings to his clients extensive experience based on strong technical expertise, negotiation skills and a practical understanding of their economic, professional and personal challenges.
